10 Stacy Abrams – Abrams is a former minority leader in the Georgia House of Representatives and ran for Governor of Georgia in 2018, becoming the first African-American female major-party gubernatorial nominee in the United States. She has been active in voter registration initiatives and was a co-founder of Fair Fight, an organization that promotes fair elections.

9 Bernie Sanders – Sanders is a Vermont senator and presidential candidate in 2016 and 2020. He is an independent, but caucuses with the Democrats. Sanders is a self-described democratic socialist, and his policy proposals include Medicare for All, tuition-free college, and raising the minimum wage.

8 JB Pritzker – Pritzker is the current Governor of Illinois and was previously a businessman. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been active in fundraising for various candidates and causes.

Pritzker ramped up speculation about a possible presidential campaign in 2024 when he was the keynote speaker at an annual event for Florida Democrats in July 2022.

7 Amy Klobuchar – Klobuchar is a Minnesota senator and presidential candidate in 2020. She is the chair of the Senate Rules Committee and has served on various other committees, including the Judiciary Committee.

6 Elizabeth Warren – Warren is a Massachusetts senator and presidential candidate in 2020. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has been active in consumer protection, bankruptcy reform, and taxation.

5 Hillary Clinton – No list would be complete if it did not include several previous candidates over the decades. Hillary Clinton is one of them. Clinton is a former Secretary of State, senator from New York, and first lady. She was the Democratic presidential nominee in 2016 and has been active in various causes, including children’s rights and women’s empowerment.

4 Pete Buttigieg – Buttigieg is the current Secretary of Transportation and was a presidential candidate in 2020. He is a member of the Democratic Party and served in the United States Navy Reserve.

3 Kamala Harris – Harris is the current Vice President and a former senator from California. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has served on various committees, including the Judiciary Committee. If President Joe Biden does not seek reelection, most see Harris as the rightful heir to the throne.

2 Gavin Newsom – Newsom is the current Governor of California and was previously the Lieutenant Governor. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been active in various causes, including gun control and same-sex marriage.

And the top presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2024 is…

1 Joe Biden – This one is the easiest as of now, based on US precedence. The current President of the United States, Biden is a member of the Democratic Party and has served as a senator from Delaware and Vice President. He has been active in various causes, including fighting for civil rights and cancer research.
