If President Joe Biden does not seek reelection, most see Harris as the rightful heir to the throne.
2 Gavin Newsom – Newsom is the current Governor of California and was previously the Lieutenant Governor. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been active in various causes, including gun control and same-sex marriage.

The current President of the United States, Biden is a member of the Democratic Party and has served as a senator from Delaware and Vice President.
